Electric & Hybrid Models
Ford Escape
As a small SUV, the Ford Escape is an average model, except for its two hybrid engines. The base hybrid model outputs 192 horsepower and has all-wheel drive, while the other is a plug-in hybrid variant that outputs 210-hp and uses front-wheel drive. Both setups average about 40 -41 mpg and have features like an eight-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, and evasive steering assistance.
Ford F-150
The F-150 is Ford's most iconic vehicle, and for a good reason. It's powerful, versatile, and has multiple powertrains. One of those powertrains is a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with an electric motor and a battery pack called PowerBoost that outputs 430 hp. This powertrain also gets around 24 mpg combined and has 12,700 pounds of towing capacity.
F-150 Lightning
The F-150 Lightning is a recent addition to Ford's lineup, and it's an EV that comes standard with a 98-kWh battery pack and dual electric motors to provide 452 horsepower and all-wheel drive. There's also a 131-kWh battery that boosts the horsepower to 580 hp. These powertrains allow the Lightning to tow between 7,700 and 10,000 pounds and have a range of 230 and 320 miles.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
The Mustang Mach-E combines the sleek design and power of the iconic muscle car with the size of an SUV. But what stands out is how its power and range depend on the trim and drivetrain. For example, the base setup, which outputs 266 hp, has between 224 and 247 miles of range. While the highest trim can output 480 hp but ranges between 260 and 270 miles.
