For the 2023 model year, Ford is introducing a new generation of a heavy-duty trucks named the Super Duty. Super Duty trucks encompass the Ford F-250 and F-350, and these models receive new exterior and interior stylings, plenty of new tech, and new powertrain options. What's New for 2023?

With these new Super Duty models, Ford is providing the F-250 and F-350 with new engines and a new look. New "C-clamp" lighting and functional side vents are new on the exterior, as is a revised air intake for the 7.3-liter V-8. There's also a new 6.7-liter V-8 diesel engine that's available.

The interior of these cabins is also redesigned with a new digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment display. Also new is standard all-wheel drive for the XLT and Lariat trims.

Performance

Powering the Super Duty models are three engine options attached to a 10-speed automatic transmission. These engines include:

  • 6.8-liter gasoline 385 horsepower V8
  • 7.3-liter gasoline 500 hp V8
  • 6.7-liter turbocharged 475 hp diesel V8

With these engines equipped, all Super Duty models can haul around 8,000 pounds and tow up to 40,000 pounds!

Technology

Inside the base XL trim of a Super Duty model is an eight-inch touchscreen, though higher trims will feature a 12-inch display. Also coming standard is A 5G Wi-Fi hotspot is also available, as is an eight-speaker audio system. Other features include two 110-volt household-style outlets, massaging front seats, and an 18-speaker audio system.

Safety

With the new Super Duty models, Ford wants to keep you and your passengers safe. To do that, Ford has equipped these trucks with features like adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and a 360-degree camera.
